Angolan-Black

Angolan Black

A deep black granite scattered with countless silvery-grey sparks, with a smoky, cosmic character.

Angolan Black is a natural black granite, quarried in Angola.
Composed of feldspar and labradorite with a medium-grained crystalline structure, Angolan Black displays countless greyish sparks across an almost flawless absolute-black background, with its reflective quality shifting subtly under different lighting. As with all natural granite, colour and pattern vary slab to slab. It offers strong heat and scratch resistance for kitchens, bathrooms and living spaces, and benefits from periodic sealing to maintain its stain resistance.

Angolan Black is a natural black granite quarried in Angola, prized for the countless silvery-grey sparks scattered across its deep, near-flawless black background.

As a genuinely natural stone, no two slabs are identical — each carries its own unique grain and density of sparkle. It offers strong heat and scratch resistance, well suited to kitchen worktops, bathroom vanities, splashbacks and flooring.

At Landford Stone, we source Angolan Black through our trusted natural stone suppliers, offering expert advice and fabrication for every project.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

Stone to last

a lifetime

Natural granite is hardwearing but, unlike engineered quartz, benefits from periodic resealing to maintain its stain resistance. Clean with a pH-neutral cleaner and a microfibre cloth, wiping up spills promptly. We always recommend using chopping boards, trivets and protective pads, and following the specific care guidance for your Angolan Black surface.
