Ambrosia Satinato

richly veined granite with a soft, honed finish

Ambrosia Satinato is a natural granite from South India, with a wonderful network of colours and veining running through white, grey, black, red and brown tones.
Finished with a honed, satin surface rather than a high polish, it has a softer, more natural look and feel - relaxed and casual, while still retaining the elegant character of natural stone. Landford Stone offer Ambrosia Satinato in a range of thicknesses.

TECHNICAL OPTIONS

BRAND: Cristed Stone
FINISHES: Satinato
THICKNESS: 20mm, 30mm
SPACES: Bathrooms, Commercial, Kitchen, Living & Dining, Outdoor
RESISTANCE: Heat, Scratch, Stain

Ambrosia Satinato’s rich network of white, grey, black, red and brown tones gives it real visual depth and movement, particularly well suited to kitchens that want a natural stone with genuine character rather than a plain neutral.

A honed granite finish is achieved by stopping the polishing process before the surface is buffed to a high shine, leaving a satin or matte appearance. While this finish is more commonly used on high-traffic areas like floors and stairs, it works beautifully on kitchen worktops too, offering a relaxed, tactile alternative to a traditional polished granite.

At Landford Stone, we hand-select natural materials like Ambrosia Satinato to offer a carefully curated range of high-quality stone, backed by expert advice and fabrication.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

Stone to last

a lifetime

Good care starts with simple, consistent habits. Clean with warm water and mild soap, avoiding harsh chemicals and abrasive pads. As a natural stone, Ambrosia Satinato will benefit from periodic sealing to help maintain its resistance to staining - honed finishes are generally slightly more porous than polished ones, so may need sealing a little more often. Wiping up spills promptly and using chopping boards will help keep it looking its best for years to come.
