Crema Valencia
A warm cream Spanish limestone quarried since Roman times
Crema Valencia is quarried in the Valencia region of Spain, from stone laid down around 70 million years ago in the Cretaceous period as calcareous mud settled on an ancient sea floor.
Its warm cream ground is marked by distinctive orange stylolites – thin, wavy suture-like lines formed as the rock compacted – and it has a genuinely long trading history, quarried by the Romans under the name ‘Saetabis’ and distributed across their empire.
At Landford Stone, we select and supply natural stone like Crema Valencia directly, backed by expert advice on finish, fabrication and long-term care.

Stone to last
a lifetime
As a natural stone, this marble is porous and should be sealed on installation, with re-sealing roughly every 12-18 months to guard against staining. Wipe up spills promptly - acidic liquids such as wine, citrus juice and vinegar can etch and dull the polished surface - and always clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner rather than bleach, ammonia or other acidic or abrasive products. Use a chopping board and trivets to protect against scratches and heat marks. With correct care, marble develops a genuine natural patina and remains a beautiful, long-lasting surface for generations.
